Job summary

Safe Life Home Health Care, LLC in Melrose Park, IL seeks an in-home caregiver for full-time, live-in hourly positions. You will assist clients with personal care, meal prep, hygiene, and companionship, while supporting daily living activities and monitoring health changes.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and reporting changes to the healthcare team. CNA certification is preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience caregiving especially with elderly clients is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship. Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.
