Job summary
Vertical Home Health in Indiana is seeking a compassionate home health aide to join our growing team. The role focuses on providing in-home care with dignity and respect to elderly or recovering clients.
You will assist with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, while ensuring safety and confidentiality.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and a flexible schedule including nights or weekends.
Qualifications
- Experience in one-on-one caregiving or similar setting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willing to work nights and/or weekends.
- Minimum 1 year healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care experience.
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance and basic daily living tasks.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
- Assist with mobility around home or to appointments.
- Support personal care and hygiene.
- Plan and prepare meals.
- Shop for clients or accompany shopping.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Report incidents and respond to emergencies.
- Assist with meals and daily living activities as needed.
