Job summary

Right at Home in Huntington, WV is seeking caring caregivers to support seniors in their homes. You’ll provide companionship, transportation support, meal prep, medication reminders, and help with daily activities. No prior caregiving experience is required; we provide initial and ongoing training.

You can create your own schedule up to 40 hours per week, earn PTO, and pursue growth within the company. A valid driver's license and auto insurance are needed, and benefits like 401(k) and health

Qualifications

• No prior caregiving experience required; training provided.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Offering medication reminders
• Preparing meals and assisting with basic nutrition
• Performing light household tasks
• Helping clients with bathing, grooming and dressing
• Assisting with mobility, transfers and ambulation
• Following each client’s individualized care plan
• Observing and documenting changes in clients’ conditions and communicating concerns
• Maintaining open communication with clients, family members, supervisors, and fellow caregivers
• Accurately completing timesheets and documenting services provided
