Job summary

Right at Home Huntington is looking for compassionate caregivers to help clients remain safely in their homes and maintain independence. We offer flexible schedules, ongoing training, and a supportive, family-oriented culture.

Base pay starts at $15.00 per hour with opportunities for 401(k) and health insurance after one year, plus paid time off and referral programs. No certifications or experience required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• No certifications or experience required— training will be provided.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Transporting clients to appointments and errands
• Medication reminders
• Preparing meals
• Light housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry)
• Providing bathing and dressing assistance
• Assisting with transfer and mobility
• Following patient care plans
• Keeping proper care records and reporting changes to nursing team
• Communicating with families, co-workers, and supervisors regarding care
• Completing and maintaining proper time sheet records for services provided
