Job summary

Alana Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. Immediate shifts available, with both part-time and full-time positions. We value a Culture of Care built on trust, empathy and understanding.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, personal care, transfers, companionship, and light housekeeping. Requirements include a valid license/ID, reliable transportation, a smartphone for time tracking, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license or state ID.
• Second form of ID for employment eligibility.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone used for time tracking and communication via free mobile apps.
• Ability to pass background check & drug screen per company and state standards.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs multiple times per day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, changing, toileting, oral hygiene).
• Offer transfer assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
