Job summary

Compassus is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver in Anaheim, CA to support clients in staying safe, comfortable, and independent at home. You will assist with daily living activities, meal prep, transport assistance, and light housekeeping under the Plan of Care.

Required: California driver’s license and auto insurance, along with experience with older adults or disabled individuals. CNA or nursing student clinical experience or active CNA certification is needed; HCA registration

Qualifications

Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance.
Experience working with older adults or physically disabled individuals.
Professional caregiver experience, nursing student clinical experience, or active CNA certification required.
Preferred: Active HCA registration.
Preferred: 6 months professional caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, incontinence care, transfers, and ambulation.
Provide meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, laundry, and light housekeeping.
Support daily activities and exercises as directed by the Plan of Care.
Observe and report changes in client condition.
Build positive relationships with clients and families while delivering exceptional care.
