Job summary

EPAGA Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support. You will offer personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping to clients in Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Kalispell, and surrounding areas in Montana.

The role requires reliability, integrity, and the ability to document services while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Training is provided, with potential waivers for experienced PCA/CNA personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Dependability and high moral standards are essential.
• Must pass background checks, including criminal history, driving record, and references.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance are required.
• Completion of EPAGA Accredited Caregiver training is mandatory; prior training as a PCA or CNA may qualify for a training waiver.
• Travel to client locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social interaction to clients.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment, including light housekeeping.
• Assist with daily activities, such as meal preparation, reminders, and correspondence.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities, providing mobility assistance as needed.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s physical, mental, or emotional condition to your supervisor promptly.
• Uphold HIPAA compliance and professional relationships with clients, families, and coworkers.
• Complete required documentation of services provided and submit payroll information in a timely manner.
• Other responsibilities as needed and/or assigned.
