Job summary

Eminence Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Care Givers/Direct Care Workers to join our team in providing in-home support to individuals in need. You will deliver personalized care to help clients maintain independence and dignity in their homes, while building meaningful relationships and ensuring high standards of care.

This role emphasizes respect, empathy, and professionalism as you support clients and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; caregiving training/certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in home care or personal care is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and families.
• Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients.
• Compassion, patience and a genuine desire to help others are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, meal prep).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document health status and changes.
• Administer medications as prescribed and follow care plans.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments/outings.
• Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals about needs and progress.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment for clients.
