Job summary

EPAGA Home Care seeks a dedicated Caregiver to provide non-medical, in-home support and companionship to clients. You will assist with daily activities, light housekeeping, meals, and medication reminders while promoting safety and well-being.

The role requires a valid driver''s license, reliable transportation, and completion of EPAGA Accredited Caregiver training. Travel to client locations may be needed; HIPAA confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Dependability and a strong moral compass are essential.
• Must pass background checks (criminal history, driving record, references).
• Valid driver''s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Must have a working phone number for communication.
• Completion of EPAGA Accredited Caregiver training is mandatory; PCA/CNA training may waive.
• Prior training as a PCA/CNA could qualify for a waiver.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social interaction to clients.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment (light housekeeping).
• Assist with daily activities: meals, reminders, and communication.
• Accompany clients to outings, appointments, and community activities.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Foster professional communication with clients, families, and coworkers.
• Uphold HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Complete documentation and submit time cards promptly.
