Qualifications

• Active CNA/HHA/PCA certification or registration in Virginia.
• 2 years experience in home care, assisted living, or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and families.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Fairfax, VA area.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and current TB or chest x-ray.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state compliance requirements.
• Weekend or every-other-weekend availability and pet friendly.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ambulation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in client health to supervisors/nurses.
• Support meal preparation, feeding and nutritional needs.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and errands to maintain a safe home.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote well-being.
• Document care activities.
