Job summary

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate caregivers for Freeport, TX and surrounding areas. This part-time role requires travel within a 20-mile radius and offers flexible scheduling, in-office orientation, and supportive team culture.

Responsibilities include in-home non-medical care, companionship, meal prep, and daily living assistance to seniors and veterans, helping maintain dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• At least two years of caregiving experience.
• Must pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of Freeport, TX.
• Able to work with both male and female clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, errands, and appointments.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions or well-being.
• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment.
• Follow individual care plans and communicate concerns to the appropriate office staff.
