Job summary

Amada Senior Care - Central Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home, non-medical support in Freeport, TX and surrounding areas. You will offer companionship, assist with daily living activities, and help seniors and veterans maintain independence and dignity.

The role offers part-time scheduling with flexibility; orientation is provided and you will join a supportive team. Flexible shifts, weekend coverage, and opportunity to grow within the company are available.

Qualifications

• Two years of caregiving experience required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of Freeport, TX.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with mobility, transfers, errands, and appointments
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping
• Observe and report changes in clients' condition or well-being
• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment
• Follow individual care plans and communicate concerns to office staff
