Job Summary:

The In-Home Caregiver at Village Caregiving in Bowling Green, Kentucky is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position that provides compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes in Tompkinsville, Ky. As an individual contributor, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients and their families by assisting with daily tasks and providing emotional support.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation for this position is based on an hourly rate and will be discussed during the interview process. Benefits include flexible scheduling, opportunities for career growth, and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure medication is taken as prescribed
- Help clients with mobility and light exercises as needed
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for clients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's physical or mental health
- Communicate regularly with the client's family and medical team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Attend trainings and workshops to improve caregiving skills

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in caregiving, preferably in a home care setting
- Ability to provide physical and emotional support to clients
- Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures and safety precautions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
