Job summary

Senior Helpers of Portage/Geauga is seeking an In-Home Caregiver and home health aide to provide one-on-one personal care for clients in their homes in the Solon area. You will help clients stay safe and independent, matching tasks to your area of expertise and needs of each client.

The role emphasizes compassionate caregiving, daily activities support, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team and flexible scheduling. Excellent benefits and pay are highlighted.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent.
• Pass Background Check.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Current Auto Insurance.
• Preferred - Experience in-home, assisted living, or facility caregiving.
• You are passionate about helping others.
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients.

What does a day in the life of an In-Home Caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
