Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is hiring caregivers to support clients in Soap Lake and surrounding areas. This role offers opportunities for hands-on personal care, mobility assistance, and companionship across weekday and weekend shifts. Mileage reimbursement and travel with clients are provided as needed.

Candidates should have heavy care experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and own a smartphone to use our caregiving app. Training and ongoing support are provided by the team.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and able to lift 10–50 lbs.
• Must own a smartphone with a mobile app.
• Able to pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Willing to enroll in state-required caregiver training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Provide compassionate care and companionship to clients.
• Transport clients to appointments or store visits.
• Perform light household duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Monitor and report clients’ condition and needs.

Looking for Caregivers to work in Soap Lake, Warden, George, Mattawa, and surrounding areas

Our Current Needs

HIGH NEED:

• Caregivers with heavy Care Experience Preferred - Such personal care (showering and Toileting), Heavy lifting and Cognitive Disorders
• At this time we are looking for caregivers available for weekday and weekend shifts! Current available shifts anytime between 8 am - 8 pm.
• Weekday shifts (examples, not limited to): 8a-12p, 9a-2p, 8a-4p, 10a-3p, 3p- 8pm
• Weekend shifts (examples, not limited to): 10a-12p, 10a-3p, 9a-12p, 1p-3p, 3p-8pm
• Also looking for caregivers willing to travel to the Grand Coulee and Ritzville Areas.
• Caregivers able to transport clients in their vehicle to appointments or grocery shopping + we reimburse mileage
• Caregivers able to provide hands-on personal care to clients - bathing, dressing, grooming.

Pay Rate: $19.25 - $21.75 - Pay is dependent on the care level of the client

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements
