Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support clients in Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily living activities, transportation, and light household tasks while fostering independence and comfort for clients.

We offer paid training and orientation, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and ongoing support from a dedicated team to ensure successful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, clean driving record and reliable vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed

Responsibilities

• Driving clients to the store or appointments (we reimburse mileage)
• Help clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Monitoring and reporting on clients’ condition

Our Silverdale branch is looking for caregivers who live and are willing to work in Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo and other nearby locations! We will find a client close to the location in which you'd like to work! Don't have your HCA or CNA? We offer paid HCA Training,

Pay range:

$22.25-$27.25/hour

Current Schedule Needs

• Client 1: Poulsbo or Port Orchard area – younger/child client, weekend shifts starting at 3:00pm or 4:00pm, 4 shifts available
• Client 2: Kingston – full-time 8:00am–4:00pm, caregiver experience W/Hoyer preferred or willing to learn
• Client 3: Poulsbo – full-time 10:00am–6:00pm, caregiver experience W/Hoyer preferred or willing to learn
• ADLs experience / Children experience
• All Locations: Mix of clients covering light, moderate, or higher-level care needs

Plus

• Comfortable working with DD children and younger clients
• Hoyer experience preferred or willing to learn
• Caregiver experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules
• Caregivers with experience working with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Behavioral Health is a PLUS!
• Drivers preferred

Requirements

What will you do as an In Home Caregiver?

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
