Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking a caregiver for a Monday through Friday day shift in Merrill, WI. This role provides non-medical in-home care, including daily living assistance, meal prep, errands, light housekeeping, companionship, and medication reminders.

The position is part-time with an hourly pay range of $18–$24, based on experience. DailyPay access and 401(k) with company match after six months are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and support to clients in their homes.
• Help clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Administer medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and dishes.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings as required.

This position is for part time hours. The caregiver will be responsible for helping with daily tasks such as personal cares, meal preparation, helping with errands, light housekeeping, companionship, and medication reminders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and be dedicated to providing quality care.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18 to $24, depending on experience and qualifications. The caregiver will be paid semi-monthly and will also have the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.
