Job summary

Nazareth At Home is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide essential in-home support to individuals in Louisville, KY. As a Caregiver, you will enhance clients’ quality of life by delivering personalized, compassionate care in their own homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care and daily living activities, light housekeeping, transportation as needed, and accurate health documentation for each client. Training and ongoing support are provided to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• In-home caregiving experience for elderly clients.
• Reliable transportation and dependable punctuality.
• Ability to assist with personal care and ADLs.
• Willingness to document observations and communicate with supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other ADLs.

• Observe and report on patients' condition.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
• Helping with general light housekeeping.
• Making arrangements for or providing transportation as needed.
• Observing and reporting on a patient’s condition.
• Keeping up with in-service training.
• Enters patients records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures; incidents and observations, reports any changes in patients’ physical condition and/or behavior; observes and documents the health and emotional condition of each patient; promptly reports any changes to the supervisor

Caregiver Qualifications/Skills:

• Reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• In-home caregiving experience supporting elderly clients with ADLs
• Experience creating a safe, effective environment
• Listening, analyzing information, and focusing on quality
• Dependability and punctuality
• Physical ability to reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift up to 50 lbs. while avoiding potential injury from transferring, repositioning, or lifting residents
