Job summary

Complete Care at Home is seeking compassionate, patient caregivers to help local senior citizens live safe and healthy lives at home in the Goleta area. Weekend availability is highly valued, but all schedules are considered.

You will be trained to safely supervise and assist our clients at home. Responsibilities include non-medical ADL support, medication reminders, driving clients on errands, daily documentation, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must show compassion and respect for seniors.
• Willing to undergo background check for the Home Care Aide Registration of California.
• Have a driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communicator; English proficiency required.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Be 18 years or older.

Complete Care at Home is looking to hire compassionate, patient, and reliable people to help local senior citizens live safe and healthy lives at home. We are primarily looking for caregivers who can work on the weekends, though all availabilities are welcome to apply.

As seniors age, they can lose the ability to care for themselves in a variety of ways including needing assistance in the shower, getting dressed, cooking healthy meals, accessing their mobility devices, and more. Our agency specializes in training and equipping caregivers of all ages and backgrounds to safely supervise and assist our senior clients at home.

The Job Duties:

• Assist Clients with Non-medical ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) such as Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, and Ambulation.

• Provide Medication Reminders

• Drive Clients on Errands or Outings

• Complete Daily Documentation

• Help with Light Housekeeping and Laundry

You could be reporting to work in: Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito, or Carpinteria. We assign shifts based on your availability, location, personality, and skill level. Our shifts can be 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 hours long. We also have a few overnight shifts and weekend shifts. You will receive your schedule after completing onboarding and initial training.

Requirements to get the Job:

• Have deep compassion and respect for seniors

• Be willing to undergo a background check for the Home Care Aide Registration of California (if you have not already)

• Have a driver's license AND a reliable vehicle

• Be a strong communicator (English proficiency required)

• Be punctual!

• Be 18 or older
