Job summary

The Comfort Keepers group is immediately hiring Experienced Professional Caregivers in Elk Grove, California. Starting pay is between $17 and $20 per hour, depending on experience and schedule flexibility. This role offers competitive pay, regular hours, and opportunities for training.

As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes and help them with daily tasks. Applicants should have a valid driver's license and a minimum high school diploma or GED. Join our team and make a difference!

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNA, Home Care Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant or similar positions.
• Able to submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record and Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes.
• Help seniors with daily tasks such as light housekeeping.
• Accompany seniors to appointments and grocery store visits.
• Maintain a comforting environment in the home.

Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required
• PCA, HHA, or CNA license or 6 months of Professional Caregiver experience (preferred but not required)
• Open availability a Plus!

Caregiver Job Responsibilities:

• Organize transportation, ambulation and transfers
• Encourage activity and movement
• Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments and hobbies
• Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home
