Job summary

Comfort Keepers provides in-home care to seniors in Grass Valley, California. We seek caring individuals for full-time or part-time shifts starting at $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include light housework, errands, transportation to appointments, meal prep, and medication assistance, plus companionship to improve quality of life. Requirements include a preferred high school diploma, ability to stand for long periods, license eligibility, dependable transportation and California vaccination

Comfort Keepers is looking for individuals who want to Elevate The Human Spirit of our senior clients. Is this you? Come join our team. Full Time and Part Time shifts available. Starts at $20.00 an hour!

Responsibilities:

• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming. Provide any financial aid if needed such as balancing checkbooks, going to the bank or helping the client to pay their bills
• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.

Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred
• Must stand for (sometimes) a long period of time
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time
• Ability to obtain State Home Care Aide License
• Dependable transportation and vehicle insurance.
• Due to State of California Mandate, must be vaccinated against Covid -19
