Job summary

Kennedy Care is seeking a Life Care Professional (In-Home Caregiver) for part-time day shifts in the Dover, OH area. You will help clients live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes while providing companionship and essential support.

The role offers flexible scheduling, training, and a supportive team. We value heart, reliability, and professionalism, and provide orientation, PTO, and holiday pay to our caregivers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18 or older.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 25-30 mile radius.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. independently.
• Comfortable using smartphones/mobile apps.
• Dependable, compassionate caregiver mindset.
• Additional requirements may vary based on client assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and daily routines.
• Support mobility, transfers, and home safety.
• Care for spinal cord injuries, TBI, dementia, Alzheimer's, and aging-related conditions.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care updates using smartphone tools.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure high-quality home care.

Position: In-Home Caregiver (Life Care Professional)

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per Hour based on Certifications and Experience

Job Type: Part Time

Location: Dover, OH (and surrounding areas within a 25-30 mile radius)

What You'll Do

As a Life Care Professional, you'll provide supportive home care that helps clients live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes. Our caregivers may:

• Provide specialized home care for individuals with spinal cord injuries, TBI, dementia, Alzheimer's, and age-related conditions

• Communicate with the care team to ensure the highest level of home care
