Job summary

Lifesteps is hiring compassionate and caring Direct Care Aides to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Homer City, PA. This is a part-time position with steady evening or overnight shifts and paid training provided.

You will assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, personal care, medication administration, transportation to appointments, and community outings. No experience is required; experience in home health is welcome.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Dutiescan include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, part-time hours! Available Shifts are: Evenings 3 pm to 9 pm OR Overnight Shifts 11 pm to 7 am.
