Job summary

Lifesteps Inc. is seeking an Evening Caregiver in Homer City, PA for part-time, evening hours. You will support adults with disabilities in a residential home by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and community outings.

No experience is required; paid training is provided. Candidates must be 18+, able to lift up to 200 lbs with help, and obtain required clearances (ACT 33/34 and FBI).

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a home setting
• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, bathing)
• Prepare meals and help with feeding
• Transport to doctor appointments and community activities
• Medication administration and monitoring

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Homer City, PA.

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Dutiescan include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, part-time hours! Available Shifts are: Evenings 3 pm to 9 pm.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse's aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
