Job summary

Visiting Angels Central Ohio is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors. You’ll work with regular clients, enjoy consistent hours, and join a supportive team environment.

Base pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour, with weekend bonuses and weekly pay. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts and ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team.
• Smartphone required for scheduling and visit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care for seniors, helping with daily living activities.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and transfers.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor health needs.
• Offer companionship and social engagement to clients.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Support clients with dementia/Alzheimer's needs.
• Contribute to client care plans and report updates to office.

Pay & Schedule

• Base pay $15 - $17/hr. an hour, based on your experience
• Bonus hourly pay for weekend shifts, caring for couples, shorter shifts, and other shift types
• Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Consistent schedules and recurring clients
• Daytime, evening, and weekend opportunities available

What You'll Do

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will assist seniors with activities of daily living while helping them maintain independence and dignity.

Responsibilities may include:

• Personal care assistance
• Bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and social engagement
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Dementia and Alzheimer's support

Our caregivers become trusted companions and an important part of our clients' support system.

Experience as a caregiver, home health aide (HHA), STNA, CNA, DSP, or caring for a loved one is a plus.

Qualifications
