Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is hiring caregivers to support clients in the Bellingham area, including nearby towns. Flexible scheduling lets you work according to your availability, with weekly pay and paid orientation and training.

The team provides 24/7 caregiver support and hands-on training to ensure quality care for clients. Caregivers must have a WA Driver's License, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle; mileage reimbursement and client matching are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have WA state driver's license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb rarely.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (household chores, meals, bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide companionship and transportation to appointments or stores as needed.
• Monitor client condition and report changes to the team.

Ask us about our In-House HCA Training program. Pay varies depending on the clients needs, ranging between $19.13-$19.63 per hour. We MUST have a WA State Driver's License, Auto Insurance and reliable vehicle. We reimburse .60 cent per mile when transporting a client!

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
