Job summary

Right at Home Phoenix West is hiring Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes in Avondale, AZ. Join a team that values compassion, reliability, and safety as you deliver daily living assistance.

You'll perform personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship, with training and PPE provided. This role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities to grow with a nationwide home care company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving client within the home.
• Housekeeping duties: vacuuming, sweeping/mopping, dishes, laundry, cleaning bathroom.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing, showering, and dressing.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Provide companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home

• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom

• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions

• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments

• Bathing/Showering/Dressing

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

• Dementia care

• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
