Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring an In-Home Caregiver to support clients with personal, physical, mobility and therapeutic care needs in and out of the home.

We offer flexible scheduling with shifts ranging between 2-5 hours. Maxim provides competitive pay, weekly paychecks and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Current PPD test or Chest X-Ray.
• Strong communication skills; English proficiency may be required.
• Computer proficiency.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides services to persons who need help with day-to-day activities.
• Provides health care tasks, personal hygiene services, and other related support services essential to the client’s health.
• Assist with personal, social, occupational, and therapeutic goals.
• Assists with transfers and ambulation.
• Performs incidental household services that are an integral part of a personal care and support plan.
• Provides companionship by reading, listening and talking with client.
• Assists client in the development of independent skills through self-care activities such as toileting, clothing routines and personal hygiene.
• Appropriately reports changes in client status or as directed by care plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
