Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Companion Caregiver in Montebello, CA to provide in-home care for patients in their residences. You will support daily living, encourage social engagement, and assist with light housekeeping while maintaining safety and dignity.

Requirements include being 18 or older, English proficiency, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Prior caregiver experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One (1) year of experience as a Companion Care Homemaker/Companion Care Provider preferred.
• Ability to carry out tasks professionally and adhere to policies on professionalism and boundaries preferred.
• Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills preferred.
• Strong communication skills with relevant stakeholders preferred.
• Proficiency in English language required.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient care such as socialization, mild exercise, and medication reminders.
• Supervises safety during bathing, toileting and dressing.
• Assists with grocery shopping and light housekeeping.
• Arrives at client's home on time and completes shift schedule.
• Performs duties accurately and timely.
• Observes infection control procedures including universal precautions.

Pay Range $18.57-$21.00 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Companion Caregiver to provide services to patients/clients in their places of residence.

Responsibilities:

• Provides patient care such as:
  • Providing and encouraging socialization
  • Encouraging a mild exercise program
  • Encouraging medication compliance through timely reminders to take medications
  • Supervising the safety of the patient/client when bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Assisting with grocery-shopping; and performing light housekeeping chores
  • Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
• Arrives at the client’s home on time and leaves when shift schedule is complete
• Performs all duties in an accurate and timely manner
• Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• One (1) year of experience as a Companion Care Homemaker/Companion Care Provider preferred
• Ability to carry out tasks in a professional manner and adhere to policies regarding professionalism and boundaries preferred
• Must demonstrate a compassionate nature and possess strong interpersonal skills preferred
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills preferred
• Proficiency in the English language is required
• Computer proficiency required
