Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking Personal Support Specialists to provide in-home care for adults and seniors. No experience required; training and ongoing supervision are provided.

You will support daily living activities, mobility, meals, and companionship in clients’ homes, following each care plan and reporting changes to your supervisor. We offer full-time and part-time schedules, mileage reimbursement where applicable, and opportunities for career growth (CRMA, CNA, DSP, etc.).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active PSS certification in the State of Maine, or willing to enroll within 60 days of hire.
• CNA (active or inactive) accepted.
• No experience required - training and support provided.
• Not listed on Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and basic hygiene.
• Support mobility and transfers with or without mobility aids.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and changing bed linens.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, shopping, and errands as per care plan.
• Provide companionship and support daily routines or hobbies.
• Observe changes and report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
