Job summary

MaineTouch is seeking Personal Support Specialists to provide in-home care in Cumberland County, including Gorham, ME 04038. You will work one-on-one with adults and seniors, following individualized care plans to support daily living and safety at home.

Shifts range from 2 to 40 hours per week with day, evening, weekend, and overnight options. Pay is $17–$20 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and potential advancement into CRMA, CNA, CNA-M, DSP, and nursing roles.

Qualifications

• Experience as caregiver or home health aide and ability to assist with daily living tasks.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Maine PSS certification within 60 days of hire.
• CNAs (active or inactive) welcome to apply.
• Reliable transportation and cell phone for scheduling/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients one-on-one in their homes following individualized care plans.
• Provide personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and errands.
• Offer companionship and daily support to help clients stay safely at home.
