As an In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA, you will support clients with personal care, meals, mobility, and companionship, while reporting changes and maintaining safety. Training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents to supervisor.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
