ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Orinda, CA team. You will provide in-home care that promotes dignity and independence, help with daily living activities, and offer companionship to clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a PCA/HHA/CNA or caregiver preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated compassion for elderly or disabled clients.
• Reliable transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands or transportation
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure consistent, high-quality personal care
