Job description

RIGHT AT HOME is currently looking for caring, honest, and compassionate individuals to fill various Home Care Aide (HCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and Exempt Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) positions in N. King and Snohomish Counties. We assist and support clients in their own homes with daily ADLs and IADLs.

The base rate for a 4-hour shift is $22.50 per hour, with increases based on the level of care the client needs.

Rates fluctuate based on shift length. A 5+ hour shift will pay differently per hour than a 4-hour shift.

Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement are provided between client shifts when working back-to-back.

Shift

Currently seeking 4-hour shifts; however, we also offer 5-12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

Caregivers are responsible for personal care tasks related to the client’s ADLs and IADLs. This includes providing care and assistance to meet their daily needs through tasks like bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, transfers, and companionship.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • HCA, CNA, or NAR (with exemption letter, currently enrolled, or completed the 75-hour training). License must be from a WA-approved training program and be active. If in training, you have 200 days to obtain your license.
  • Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US.
  • Up-to-date CEUs.
  • CPR/First Aid Card.
  • Food Handler’s Card.
  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy.
  • Good communication skills to listen and respond to client needs.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Car and current auto insurance.
