Job summary

CAS-Homecare Health Services LLC is seeking a dedicated CNA/GMA to provide in-home care for clients in the Baltimore, MD area. The role focuses on compassionate, patient-centered support delivered in clients’ homes.

Responsibilities include bathing, monitoring vital signs, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, and clear communication with families and supervising nurses. CPR/First Aid is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or GMA license with the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Prior experience in total care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home care environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Baltimore, MD area.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor with a genuine passion for caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
• Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to promote independence and safety
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands to support client well-being
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and supervising nurses regarding care updates
• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all state and agency compliance standards
