Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable transportation to client homes and valid driver’s license required.
• Compassion, patience and a desire to help others.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as part of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light physical activity and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients in accordance with dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Report health changes or incidents to the supervisor.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Supervise clients during shopping trips and transportation.
• Encourage adherence to medications and care plans.
