Job summary

Visiting Angels of Jasper is hiring In Home Patient Care Assistants to support clients across the local area with compassionate in-home care. You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, and daily activities while maintaining client safety and dignity.

We offer flexible schedules, opportunities for advanced training in dementia care, and a supportive team environment. A valid license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Training in First Aid/emergency response provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks with clients.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with shopping and accompany clients as needed.
• Remind clients to take medications.
