Job summary

Visiting Angels Lufkin is hiring an In Home Personal Aide to support clients throughout Deep East Texas, including Lufkin, Huntington, Diboll, and surrounding communities.

As an In Home Personal Aide, you will help with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility support, enabling seniors to remain at home with dignity. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, weekly pay, direct deposit, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise goals and mobility.
• Prompt clients to take medications on schedule.
• Shop for groceries or assist with shopping and storage.
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients based on ability.
• Assist clients with mobility and ambulation and accompany them to appointments or walks.
