Visiting Angels Lufkin is seeking a Private Duty/Home Care Aide to support seniors across Deep East Texas, including San Augustine, Lufkin, and Nacogdoches. The role focuses on compassionate at-home care, maintaining dignity, and helping clients remain independent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management skills required.
• Reliable transportation to client visits required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response preferred.
• A heart for vulnerable people and meaningful companionship expected.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.

• Prompt clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with shopping and groceries as needed.
