Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide in-home care for clients. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, and companionship.

The successful candidate will support clients in maintaining independence and safety at home. A high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and HHA training/ADRD are required or preferred; background check and drug screening are mandatory. Full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training or certification for home health aides preferred.
• Must pass an HHA competency evaluation and ADRD training.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check (ACHA Level 2).

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist clients with meal preparation and nutrition monitoring.
• Monitor client health status and report changes to the supervisor.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and errands.
