Job summary

Lawndale Christian Health Center is seeking a Home Care Aide to assist participants with housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, shopping, and personal care across the Greater Chicago area.

You will follow each Plan of Care, maintain records, and participate in trainings while ensuring confidentiality and safety. This full-time, non-exempt role requires strong communication and a valid IL driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices.
• Ability to follow a written Plan of Care and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience in in-home or community-based care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home assistance with meals, laundry, housekeeping, and errands.
• Assist with personal care tasks per Plan of Care.
• Escort to medical facilities and accompany clients as needed.
• Maintain daily activity records and documentation.
