Job summary

ABC Services in Paramus, NJ seeks Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide in-person ABA services in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include FBAs, BIPs, supervising BCBA-Candidates and technicians, and delivering parent trainings. Licensure in NJ/NY/NC and malpractice insurance required; multilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, or related field.
  • Active BCBA license in NJ, NY, or NC.
  • Active Licensed Behavior Analyst credential in NJ, NY, or NC.
  • Direct 1:1 services and remote parent counseling.
  • Malpractice insurance.
  • Experience with Vineland, VB-MAPP, ATEC assessments.
  • Strong clinical judgement and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with BIPs for challenging behavior.
  • Experience creating skill acquisition plans.
  • Knowledge of DTT programming and naturalistic ABA.
  • Ability to respond promptly to calls/texts/emails.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Multilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support families, technicians, and colleagues with clear communication.

Job description

We are an agency that was founded ten years ago, in 2015, by the joint efforts of dedicated BCBAs and LCSWs. We have a successful history of supporting children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families with direct, in-home/in-community ABA therapeutic services. Our approach uses the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to mentor and support these children towards increasing their communication, adaptability, resilience, and independence. We are BCBA owned and operated agency with a mission is to build our ABA Professionals Network and connect these service providers to the communities that need ABA services on a daily basis. We are currently seeking in person Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)- who are dually licensed as Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBAs)- who have a strong commitment to the profession and to making a lasting impact in this community.

Job Description

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with ABC Services you will…

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)
  • Create behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Supervise, evaluate, & mentor, BCBA-Candidates & Behavior Technicians
  • Implement effective strategies for our clients in home and community settings
  • Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans for children and families that are ethically aligned with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Schedule and conduct parent trainings (PCT)
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary care with various other personnel including teachers, other school providers, etc.
  • Conduct initial and reassessments, functional behavior assessments and create behavior intervention plans
  • Monitor progress and evaluate program data, modify programs based on data analysis, and report on progress/regression using RETHINK
  • Provide support to families, behavior technicians, and colleagues using effective, multi-tiered stakeholder communication
  • Ensure high standard of care and services
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related human services field
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst License- NC, NY, and/or NJ
  • Active Licensed Behavior Analyst Credential-NC, NY, and/or NJ
  • Provide direct 1:1 services and Parent Counseling and Training with clients remotely
  • Malpractice Insurance
  • Experience conducting assessments such as the Vineland, VB-MAPP, ATEC, etc.
  • Excellent clinical judgement, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) for individuals with challenging behavior
  • Experience in developing and implementing skill acquisition plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of Discrete Trial Training (DTT) programming and implementation
  • Knowledge of naturalistic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming and implementation
  • Flexibility and ability to promptly respond to phone calls, text messages, and emails
  • Successful completion of mandatory employee training
  • Participation in ongoing in-house training and required professional development
  • Multilingual is a plus!
