Job summary

Salvation Private Home Care in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Behavioral Aide to provide one-on-one, in-home behavioral support to children under 21 enrolled in the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP). You will implement behavior strategies under a BCBA, helping with autism-related needs in the home setting.

Responsibilities include implementing the BIP, promoting communication and routines, collecting data, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges.
• Ability to follow structured behavior plans and clinical direction.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willing to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior support strategies outlined in the child's BIP.
• Provide in-home behavioral support per GAPP authorization.
• Support skill-building related to communication, routines, safety, and regulation.
• Collect and document behavioral data as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Communicate observations and progress to the clinical team.
• Maintain professionalism and therapeutic boundaries in the home.
• Follow Medicaid, agency, and client policies.
