Job summary

TruWay Staffing Services is seeking positive individuals to provide Alternative Family Living (AFL) for customers with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Durham, NC. You will ensure consumer safety by creating a supportive environment and assisting with daily activities.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism or related developmental disabilities. A college degree or high school diploma is mandatory. Compensation is based on the consumer’s level of care, with a minimum daily rate of $125.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience working with consumers diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consumer’s health and safety by providing a clean, comfortable environment.
• Assist with daily activities including meals and personal hygiene.
• Administer medications and maintain Medication Administration Record (MAR).
