Job summary

Headway Services is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to work with a 6-year-old child in South Plainfield, NJ. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling (2-3 hours, 2 days a week) and a competitive hourly wage of $18–$25, plus a $200 sign-on bonus. You’ll deliver one-on-one ABA therapy and track progress under BCBA guidance.

Experience in ABA or with children is a plus, though not required. A high school diploma is essential, and RBT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home, one-on-one ABA therapy based on BCBA-developed plans.
• Track client progress through data collection.
• Support skill-building in communication, socialization, and daily living.
• Collaborate with families for consistent treatment.
