Job summary

Family Hope Solutions is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. You will implement behavior plans across in-home, clinic, school-based, and community settings in Fredericksburg and surrounding areas.

We support trauma-informed, person-centered services and will train you to grow in this field. Prior ABA or special education exposure is preferred, and a Bachelor's degree is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Background in ABA or special education is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role.
• Experience working with children in ABA or related settings is desirable.
• Prior exposure to RBT or behavior intervention concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive training on treatment plans and behavior intervention plans for each client on your caseload
• Implement plans as written by your clinical supervisor
• Provide services to clients based on hours set by your clinical supervisor
• Collect data on a daily basis
• Communicate regularly with the clinical supervisor
• Train caregivers to implement the behavior plan
• Implement the behavior plan in all relevant settings
• Attend meetings regarding client's behavior services as necessary
• Maintain recertification of RBT training annually
• Attend meetings and trainings as requested by the supervisory team

Education

High school diploma

Bachelor's degree (preferred)

ABA or special education experience (preferred)

Experience working with kids (preferred)
