Job summary

Acorn Health is seeking a Behavior Technician to work directly with children in ABA therapy settings, delivering high quality, intensive ABA interventions under BCBA supervision. This role emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and a commitment to evidence-based treatment.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience with children, a valid driver's license, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience working with children is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors.
• Work closely with supervising BCBA and team to ensure high quality service.
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect data and document client records to monitor progress and inform treatment decisions.
• Communicate with parents and supervisors to improve treatment plans.
• Provide services in center, home, school, or other locations as clinically indicated.
