Job summary

Group 1001 Insurance is seeking an In-Force, Operational Expert to support cross-functional projects within the In-Force department. You will help document changes, interpret regulatory impacts, and ensure compliant operations in annuity processing.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product, Compliance, and Operations, focusing on process improvements, knowledge transfer, and effective issue resolution in a fast-paced financial-services environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of annuity experience preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in industry practices and standards.
• Ability to provide expert advice and guidance on complex operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in strategic projects within In-Force and collaborate across business units.
• Document project impacts and update procedures.
• Interpret regulatory/product changes and adapt processes.
• Consult on project scope and non-MVP items for releases.
• Review regulatory changes and ensure compliance in Operations.
• Lead knowledge transfer between Product and Operations for annuity processing.
• Support contract corrections and complex processing.
• Identify root causes of issues and develop solutions.
• Plan and monitor In-Force projects to achieve outcomes.
