Job summary

STAjets is seeking an In-Flight Ground Attendant at our Costa Mesa location to support the In-Flight Services Team. You will help prepare aircraft, coordinate setup, and assist with onboard amenities and client requests.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 21+ years old, and a valid CA driver's license. Prior FBO or aviation experience is preferred, with Expensify used for expense reporting in a fast-paced private aviation environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must have and maintain a valid California Driver's License—restricted licenses are NOT acceptable.
• Must live within 30 miles of the SNA airport.
• Must have previous FBO or aircraft experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate aircraft initial set-up, diagrams, and profiles; assist Flight Crews and Charter department with departures and arrivals; ensure stock freshness and aircraft cleanliness.
• Conduct daily aircraft audits for expiry, organization, and cleanliness; report blemishes to PIC/In-Flight Service managers.
• Inventory aircraft amenities; manage dry cleaning and storage; restock stockrooms at SNA and VNY; shop for items and organize storage.
• Organize and log daily duties; maintain client and aircraft files; assist with stockroom inventory; expense purchases via Expensify.

What You'll Be Doing

• Aircraft Preparation and Coordination: Assist with coordination of aircraft initial set‑up, diagrams, profiles, and more. Assist Flight Crews and the Charter department with departing and arriving aircraft. Check amenities, literature, and specific client requests—ensuring all stock is fresh and the aircraft is clean. Handle any last‑minute needs for the Charter Department, including catering requests, client visits, and aircraft displays.
• Quality Assurance and Audits: Conduct daily aircraft audits, checking for expired stock, organization, and cleanliness. Report any interior blemishes to the Pilot in Command (PIC) and/or In‑Flight Service managers. Check aircraft coming in and out of maintenance, including weight and balance on/offloading of interior items.
• Inventory and Stock Management: Inventory aircraft and prepare lists of desired amenities. Manage dry cleaning and laundry—verify all items returned from the cleaning service are inventoried and placed in designated storage areas. Restock and clean both stockrooms at SNA and VNY. Shop for necessary items, rotating and organizing all amenities and boarding snacks/baskets. Check all storage areas, including aircraft lockers and cages, for organization and cleanliness.
• Administrative Duties: Organize and log daily duties. Keep client and aircraft files organized. Assist with management stockroom inventory. Expense all purchases on the Expensify App.
