T-45C In-Flight Contract Instructor, Advanced Multi-Service Pilot Training at NAS Meridian, MS

The T-45C In-Flight Contract Instructor (ICI) shall provide in-flight Weapon System training to U.S. military personnel, foreign military personnel, government personnel, and Instructor Pilots as required.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct scheduled ICI-led/supported in-flight syllabus training events for NFSs, including briefs and debriefs, in accordance with OPNAV and CNATRA instructions, TRAWING STANNOTES/SOPs, local instructions, and other guidance. A training event includes, but is not limited to:
  2. Briefing students according to the syllabus and SOPs.
  3. Assessing aircraft maintenance data and signing off aircraft as safe-for-flight prior to takeoff.
  4. Evaluating student performance and debriefing in line with SOPs.
  5. Completing and submitting electronic grade sheets via the CNATRA Training or Learning Management System.
  6. Recording aircraft performance and deficiencies in NALCOMIS as per procedures.
Position Requirements
  • Be a T-45 NATOPS qualified Instructor Pilot, preferably within the last five years.
  • Have logged at least 1,000 flight hours as Pilot-in-Command, including 500 hours in tactical jet, strike pipeline jet, or E-2/C-2 carrier aircraft.
  • Possess a FAA commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate ratings.
  • Maintain a current FAA class 2 medical certificate.
  • Meet height and weight standards as per the T-45 NATOPS manual.
